What is Henna?
Henna powder is a dye made from the Henna plant, native to Egypt. Henna is traditionally used for occasions such as holidays, birthdays and weddings. It is most popular in African, Pakistan, Indian and Middle Eastern culture. Henna also has medicinal & anti-fungal properties, can be used as sunblock & insect repellant.
How long does henna last?
Henna applied to the face, where there are less keratinized cells last up to 14 days. Other areas of the body like hands, feet and ankles can last up to 4 weeks due to more keratinized cells to bond to. As for the hair, it is almost permanent.
Do I need a brow wax?
If you already like the shape of your brows we can go right in with the henna dye. If you'd like a new shape and a clean up, one can be provided for you. Be sure to specify when booking!
